At COMICSCORNER.COM.AR, our main idea is to share our fantastic comics collections plenty of gold, silver age comics (mainly first issues and those ones from 1960 to 1970) with comics fans and collectors, on pursuing that objective, we think that "scanned electronic files" is the best method to read and conserve this valuable material.
 | Main Comics Collections
Our main collections (most of them in English and Spanish, some in French, and proximately some in German) are currently formed by:
- Adventure Comics, mainly those ones starring by the Legion of Super Heroes (in English),
- Justice League of America (in English),
- Asterix (in English and Spanish),
- Tintin (in English and Spanish),
- Superman (Atom, Batman, etc.) (in English),
- Lucky Luke (in Spanish, and now also in French),
- Spirou and Fantasio (in Spanish, and, recently, French),
- Iron Man (English),
- Spiderman (English),
- Captain America (English),
and two quite popular Argentine comics:
- Locuras de Isidoro and
- Correrías de Patoruzito.
You will have access to each collection general view and main features and content summary when available.
We have ordered/ numbered all the collections chronologically, so in some case you could find a difference between covers numbers and our catalog numbers.

The number of pages in each comic depends on its collection, as a general rule, we set a range between 14 and 90 pages, and files with sizes between 4 and 50 Mb, that is why we recommend that when you decide to buy try to do it from a connection with good speed (i.e.: DSL) to make easier your downloads, anyway it is convenient to use download utilities that allow to "resume" the files download.
All our files are in *.cbr format, which can be easily read with the free utility CDisplay . We usually also include a copy of this application in our CDs.

In order to make your access to our comics collections easier, and in some cases, cheaper, we are also proposing a delivery of our collections in CDs through local/ international courriers for those customers wishing to have an important number of comics (i.e. more than 10), occupying important space (i.e. 100 MB or more). At the moment we have selected a number of CDs for each available collection, but we could adapt these deliveries, based on our customers requests. This site is quite simple and you will be able to find what you are looking for, starting on the left, in the tab "Categories" and knowing one of these 3 languages: English, Spanish or German. You will also will be able to find out or convert our comics prices in 2 currencies: US dollars and Euros. You will only have to press "Languages" flags and "Currencies" popup on the right side of your display in the moment that you want the translation or currency conversion.
To look up any issue, go to "Advanced Search", in the "Quick Find" tab and check the box saying "Search In Product Descriptions" what will enable your search. |
